Please read this statement from the IAEE Board of Directors:
The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) stands with its LGBTQIA+ members, their families, and all under-represented communities against discriminatory laws and practices. IAEE will diligently advocate and oppose these types of legislation in states that represent millions of dollars in direct local and state impact, as well as assist IAEE chapters to help overturn and block discriminatory legislation wherever it appears.
IAEE is an inclusive home for all professionals within the exhibitions and events industry and it advocates for the industry and profession to be a flourishing place for our stakeholders to do business. It is incumbent upon the Association to provide a platform for a wide range of perspectives and a pathway for those perspectives to be heard and celebrated. When local, state or federal laws hurt one group, they hurt all groups.
